What it is
My niece and nephew love trains. So my Dad and I built them a train set to play with.
I planned the whole layout, did the physical build of the table and parts of the town, and did all the electrical work. We wanted it to be as interactive as possible, so I added buttons to turn on the different lights, a giant switch to turn the train itself on and off, and a button that makes train sounds (not shown). All the electrical is running off of a single power supply, and the SFX are generated by the Adafruit FX Mini Board. No code here. Just good ol' button logic. Kudos to my Dad for the landscaping and my Mom for all the painting (and the donut on the donut shop).
